A persons Patient Activation Score (PAM) helps show staff how well an individual is able to manage their own well being. Once an assessment has been completed it is a quick way for other staff (that may not know the person that well) to better understand the level of support they will need.

Where a PAM score exists, it is a helpful indicator for users, and help them tailor support to the individual needs. If an organisation does use the PAM score, it would be counter-productive not to display it. |
